ELI LILLY

AND COMPANY

Agency: Wieden+Kennedy • Sr. Director: Lucia McBroom • Sr. GD: Phen Grant + Ayla Nucum

2024 - 2025

As the largest and most often recognized name in medicine, Lilly entrusted our team to reshape how the company presents itself worldwide. My role at the Lilly Brand Office focused on implementing W+K’s refreshed identity system. I expanded iconography, refined photography styles, and shaped branding across conferences, website, Lilly brands, and external marketing.

I led the design of the Lilly Signature Store online, creating merchandise for the U.S. market, which will soon be expanded globally. Partnering closely with our senior director and Chief Brand Officer, I helped define the long-term structure of the brand office, ensuring the team map meets the needs of an ever-expanding list of projects.

From stationery and business cards to universal iconography and corporate ads, we refined and extended the new Lilly brand system across departments. Every asset was tuned for global use… softened palettes, friendly icons, and patterns designed to feel more human and approachable.

BOSTON SUBWAY + BILLBOARD TAKEOVER

For the opening of Lilly’s Boston Seaport Innovation facility, we launched a recruiting campaign that took over the city’s subway system, paired with billboards throughout the area. The campaign subtly highlighted local career opportunities while introducing Lilly’s new presence at Seaport.

LILLY FIRE DEPARTMENT

Since most Lilly campuses are the size of a small town, there’s typically a fire station to boot. I branded the Lebanon and Indianapolis locations, designed shields, flags, gear, swag, and yes… even the fire trucks. I still haven’t gotten a ride in one yet, (which is the largest regret of my career to date.)

LILLY COFFEE TABLE BOOK

Originally created for a networking event in San Francisco, this compact book offered guests a colorful, informative way to learn about Lilly’s rich history. It highlighted key milestones, from Lilly’s humble beginnings in 1876, to groundbreaking medical innovations today.

TEAM LILLY
BRANDING + SWAG

TEAM Lilly connects employees to the culture behind the brand. Each new hire receives a swag box to welcome them to the company.

I crafted swag for this freshly minted kit using the new style guide I forged for TEAM Lilly. My goal here? Make the merch feel like a gift, not a box full of trinkets destined for a junk drawer.

PROTECT LILLY

I created a full brand identity and style guide for Lilly Cybersecurity, plus a new team member: Lil the Techbot. Lil is the friendly face of Protect Lilly, popping up in training materials and web to keep things human in a very digital space.

LILLY SIGNATURE STORE + MERCHANDISE

I built the Lilly Signature Store from the ground up—designing the initial product line, banners, ads, and mockups to bring the vision to life from concept to launch. With the U.S. site live and thriving, global stores are now in the works, along with capsule campaigns for the Olympics, Pride, Fever partnernships, and an upcoming milestone collection.
